Privacy Policy
What we collect, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and how you can see or delete it. This follows the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect from clients
We collect your name, mobile number and the addresses of your jobs so a driver can complete them, and payment details so you can be charged when freight is delivered. We do not sell your information.
What we collect from drivers
We collect your name, mobile number, ABN, licence, insurance certificate and vehicle registration to verify that you are legally able to carry freight. Your documents are private: they are stored encrypted, are visible only to you and to our verification team, and are never shown to a client.
Location
Your location is recorded only while you are online and on shift. Go offline and nothing is recorded — not in the background, not with the app closed. While you are on a job, the client sees the truck moving between accepting the job and delivering it, and at no other time.
What a client can see before a driver accepts
Before a driver accepts your job you see how many trucks are working nearby, never an individual driver or an individual truck.
Photos and documents
Photos and documents you upload are private. They are served over short-lived links to the people who need them, and are never visible to the other party in a job.
How long we keep location history
Location history is kept for 90 days so a delivery dispute can be settled, and is then deleted automatically.
SMS codes
We send a one-time code by SMS to confirm your number. Standard message rates may apply.
Access, correction and deletion
You can ask for a copy of your information, correct it, or ask us to delete your account at any time from your profile.

For anything about your personal information — to see what we hold, correct it, ask us to delete it, or make a complaint — write to privacy@haulio.info and we will respond within 30 days.
Haulio is operated by the company named in your tax invoice. Questions about your information, or a request for a copy of it, can be made from your profile in the app at any time.
